In fact, at least one study points to not only cost savings, but productivity boosts, when work goes virtual and implements the use of auto attendant systems.<\/p>\n<h3>New Study Proves Work from Home Effectiveness<\/h3>\n<p>The study, <a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2015\/01\/a-working-from-home-experiment-shows-high-performers-like-it-better\">reported in Harvard Business Review<\/a> and conducted by Nicholas Bloom and James Liang, a graduate student and cofounder of Ctrip, a Chinese travel web site, offered Ctrip staffers the chance to work from home for nine months. Bloom and Liang measured productivity, and other, differences between virtual and on-site staff. Their findings?[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"gap\" style=\"line-height: 20px; height: 20px;\"><\/div><div class=\"standard-arrow bullet-top\"><ul>\n<li>Those working from home completed 13.5 percent more calls than their colleagues back in the office<\/li>\n<li>Potential savings on furniture and space were estimated at $1900, per employee, per month\u2014numbers that can add up quickly<\/li>\n<li>Staff loved the opportunity, resulting in a drop in turnover<\/li>\n<li>Customers didn\u2019t notice a difference<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><div class=\"gap\" style=\"line-height: 10px; height: 10px;\"><\/div>[vc_column_text]These results don\u2019t surprise us, of course. We\u2019ve been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.messagingservice.com\/customers\/testimonials\/\">hearing the same thing from our clients<\/a> for years. And, in the article, Bloom and Liang also point to other studies showing similar results.
